why i'm freezing in Korea
school administrator: it's not even winter yet and you're already wearing mittens, a scarf and a coat?
me: yeah, this weather is pretty cold for me so i need all of this.
school administrator #2: what are you going to do when it actually becomes winter?

Today, one of my 3rd grade boys flipped off his classmate that he was physically fighting with. I was so shocked that he even knew that the middle finger was bad at such a young age and being from a different country. i got so mad that i started yelling at them (in english) and of course they were dumb founded and were asking each other what i was saying. since i couldn’t discipline them...

so, today was what has become a “normal” day here in korea. i taught 1st, 3rd and 5th grade, stopped by downtown for a little, ate dinner, and went running. KOREA
So, it’s been a little over two weeks since i’ve arrived in Korea, and it feels like i’ve been here a few months. Each day is so long and it’s just lecture after lecture after lecture. Basically, my day goes like this:
